CLIENT ACQUITTED ON BRIBERY AND WITNESS TAMPERING CHARGES

This client was accused of conspiring with his brother to bribe a witness in the client’s upcoming trial. After a two week trial, the client was acquitted based largely on a forensic investigation conducted by the firm.

ACQUITTAL OF ATTEMPT TO BRIBE A WITNESS

In this case, the client was accused of attempting to bribe a witness who had been scheduled to testify against him in an upcoming assault trial. The client, however, had never contacted the witness and had no involvement in approaching the witness. Years of phone records were presented at trial, as well as extensive cell site analysis. The client was acquitted.

PROBATIONARY SENTENCE FOR CLIENT ACCUSED OF BRIBERY

This matter involved the awarding of school bus contracts in New York State. Mr. Kousouros successfully avoided the harsher penalties his client faced and instead secured a sentence of probation.

ACQUITTAL FOR BRONX GRAND JURY CLERK ACCUSED OF BRIBERY

In this highly publicized case, the government alleged that the client had accepted a bribe to provide confidential information regarding a witness against a violent narcotics enterprise, and that an attorney had joined his client’s criminal organization. After a three-week trial, the attorney was convicted and the client was acquitted.
